Sunset Harbor Yacht Club

     Reciprocal
     Privileges
Members of Sunset Harbor Yacht Club enjoy all of our Club’s unique amenities and also have guest privileges at many other Yacht Clubs through our affiliation with Yachting Club of America. Members may visit other Clubs by car or by boat, and obtain dockage for their boat with the first night’s dockage free, upon availability.

For a list of Reciprocal Clubs, simply view on the Yachting Club of America website. Reciprocity Guides may be purchased at the Club for Member’s convenience.

When Members plan to visit another Yacht Club, they contact the Membership Director to request a letter of introduction, which indicates membership in good standing, and a current Reciprocal ID Card from Yachting Club of America. Their Sunset Harbor Yacht Club membership card will also be needed for identification.

When Members travel to another Yacht Club, it is a tradition to participate in a Burgee Exchange. A Burgee is a triangular Yacht Club Flag with their logo embroidered on it. Members of Sunset Harbor Yacht Club make arrangements to bring back a Burgee from a visiting Yacht Club in exchange for a Sunset Harbor Yacht Club Burgee to be given the visiting Club. Please contact the Membership Director to make the arrangements.

At Sunset Harbor Yacht Club a variety of other Club’s Burgees are displayed in Reflections Lounge. The Club welcomes many more Burgees from other Yacht Clubs!
