Sunset Harbor earns 'Clean Marina' tag

DAYTONA BEACH -- Sunset Harbor Yacht Club and
Conference Center is the latest facility in the area
to earn the "Clean Marina" designation from the
state Department of Environmental
Protection..
 It's
the 10th marina in Volusia and Flagler counties to
receive the
designation by voluntarily taking
certain steps to protect Florida's waterways. The
measures address waste management, storm water
control, spill prevention and emergency
preparedness.
Sunset Harbor opened in 2004 as a private club with
public banquet
and conference facilities at 861 Ballough Rd. It has 61 boat slips. |
